Style of Music
Songwriter Kathy Greenholdt aims to pull you into her—and your—innermost secrets with lyric-driven folk-rock.

Story Behind the Music
In 2002, at age 38, Kathy picked up a guitar for the first time. Soon after, she started writing songs, and then assembled a band that issued two mainly-acoustic CDs in 2003 and 2005. With their current release, "Wake-Up Prayer," the band amps things up (literally), taking their midwestern brand of folk-rock into the electric realm.

Recent Highlights:
• The song "Summer's Through" from the new EP has been selected for Females on Fire, Vol. 3, produced by Gilli Moon and Warrior Girl Music.

• "Summer's Through" was also played by BBC Radio 2's Steve Lamacq as the focus of a listener call-in contest.

Recordings
Wake-Up Prayer (5-song CD, 2007)
Wisdom Days (10-song CD, 2005)
Guilty Game (10-song CD, 2003)
